It is working fine on my Mac. Short of uninstalling, you could try this: Go to the Evernote menu, Preferences, and uncheck the option „Keep data on leaving“ Log out of the app, quit it (cmd-q), restart the Mac. Open The app, log back in, try if it is solved. If not, you can search by the word „AppCleaner“ in the forum for one of the many posts where I have described how to run a full uninstall on the Mac.
