Unable to leave shared notebooks

For some reason I am unable to leave several shared notebooks (five in total). Previously I have left notebooks that were created by the same author. However, these five remaining notebooks cannot be left and I cannot delete them. All I get is an error saying "Failed to leave" (see attached screenshot).

Does anybody have any advice on how to fix this? Thanks so much!

Probably the person who shared them deleted the originals without first withdrawing the share.

Now you have what I call orphans.

I do know no other way to get rid of orphans than by support.

Last few days been unable to publish a note and share the link. I can switch to enable but it does not work.

Hey Shane D,  it's a month later. Any resolution on this? I've got a handful of notebooks I can't leave. And on two of the notebooks that were "Failed to leave", they got duplicated instead, so now the notebooks I was trying to leave appear twice on the list of notebooks.

I still have the problem with the orphans after returning to EN recently. Two shared notebooks which I cannot delete plus the tags, they seem to be orphans too. As there was a comment by admin Shane D. last year, I am wondering whether the issue has been solved.

AFAIK no changes.

The only way to get rid of them is through support.

I discovered this long standing bug while working on my project to move entirely off of Evernote because continiuing degredation of the app and the introduction of new bugs since the company was bought by Bent Sporks or whatever. That gave me a chuckle.
