Evernote Legacy 7.14.1 is consistently crashing

Not sure why, but today my Evernote started crashing every time I started editing notes.

Does anyone know why or how to fix that? It said it was up to date.

Try logging out of your account, and back in.

If this does not help, you can force a sync. To do this on a Mac in legacy, hold down the shift + Option keys and click on the sync symbol.

Important: Let it sync, don’t use it until the operation has finished.

If it persists, the next step is to repair the  local database: Hold down option and click on the Help menu. At the end of the menu is a new position, behind it are options to repair the database. Use them one after the other, always wait until one process has terminated before starting the next.

The last resort is uninstalling.
