How do I remove the home dashboard

Hi there, 

is there a way to remove the home dashboard. Been a member since 2011 and for me it’s a big step backwards. Can we please simply rather than complicate? And also, why are my notes all of a sudden mostly read only? I want to add to my notes and need to some how unlock them each time? 
I don’t really want to drop Evernote but these changes that add complexity and friction are big steps in the wrong direction.

Not at the moment. 

Switching to the standard view is requested, not sure this will happen.

I'm also hoping for the ability to shut-off the dashboard in my "personal level" account.  The half functionality makes it kind of "in the way".

It isn't possible to remove the Home screen but if you don't use it then Evernote will return to the place you left it.
