Loading Symbol Keeps Popping Up on Mac App (latest edition) and Online too

Every time I start my Evernote I need to wait almost a minute for the loading symbol to disappear. It disappear after a few seconds and appear again and stay there for another few seconds (almost a minute, or even longer in certain days). The little wheel doesn't even move.

 

Ps. Sometimes it appears 4-5 times on the screen, it is not great as sometimes the user just wants to type a quick note and needs to wait quite a long time.

Have you checked how many devices are connected with your account ? If there are more than 2, disconnect all but 2 to make sure you will not be blocked by the Basic device limit.

I've got the same problem. Suddenly started happening recently. Very fast internet connection - definitely not the problem.

Actually, I did remove a device as suggested by @PinkElephant and I no longer get the spinner. So, thank you! Hopefully Evernote will just fix this some day. Probably damaging their business as we speak.

Looks like I spoke too soon. The spinner is back! 😩

Had the same problem today - looks as if it gets stuck on a note (attachment ?) and enters a loop.

I could solve it (up to now …) by logging out and back in. This seems to interrupt the cycle.

I have exactly the same issue. Running Evernote 10.18.3 on both Windows 10 and M1 iMac. I do have a premium subscription. The issue only occurs the first time I startup Evernote on my PC; after that, the app works flawless here.
