yozz 5
I like how Joplin auto-populates the note title with the first few words of your note. I have multiple Untitled Notes because I keep forgetting to add a title. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,273 Posted July 6, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted July 6, 2021 No way in the v10 clients to do that. When you clip something, it may create a title from the clip, but not when the note was created manually. Technically it it no problem, notes will not overwrite another, just because both are not titled. EN still identifies them as 2 different objects. Link to comment
Rob Grant 2
Until the latest update to my Windows version the auto-titling from the first line of the note was an ever-present and much appreciated feature. One of several big steps backwards in usability with v10 in my experience so far. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,273 Posted July 12, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted July 12, 2021 One little positive thing: When using import folders, the title is created from the name of the file that was imported. 1 Link to comment
