Please let us use the old version of Evernote, from back when it was actually good.

I've been using this app for TEN YEARS.  I don't understand why you treat long-time customers like me so horribly. I just want what I bought 10 years ago!  This new version is AWFUL. I can't find anything.  The tags are harder to use, the shortcuts are harder to use. Everything that used to take one click now takes 4 or 5, and to top it all off you've inserted commercials for your stupid tasks app in every activity.  I have to spend 2-3 seconds saying "no I don't want to make a task," every time I want to do ANYTHING. On a note-taking app, those extra few seconds are an eternity.

I want to go back to the way things used to be!!!!!  Back when I used this app to organize my thoughts for the entire last decade.  Just let me use the old version!  The old version was so much better!

On Android you can install the prior version through an apk file. When you search the forum you find instructions.

Not sure why this is different for me but these APKs will install but won't run. I get asked for my email then nothing.

- and yes, I did uninstall V10 and reboot before installing

Excellent bit of spam there... shame it will do absolutely no good. 

Google will ignore it cos of rel="external nofollow noopener" & the chances of getting a direct sale from the EN forums is slim to none.

Concentrate efforts and £s on better marketing strategies lol.

On the EN side of things stuff changes. I love the changes and would hate to be using the same app as a decade ago.

If the tool doesn't do the job anymore change the tool.

I agree 100% about wanting them to stop promoting upgrades! I DO use tasks, on Evernote Personal, so I already paid $70 for access yet have to decline Evernote professional every single time I lot in and it's SUPER annoying.

Does not happen to me, but when it happened a while ago, I clicked on "Accept", and broke it off on the following page.

The nagging did not return.
