kan0ne 4 Posted March 13, 2011 Posted March 13, 2011 I just encountered the exact same effect. Saved a Word DOCX to the Desktop, Renamed it (as I wanted to start a complete rewrite of the text) and re-added it to the note. Both filenames changed. Even duplicating the file, renaming and re-adding the duplicate lead to the same result. Only (slightly) changing the contents of the new file before re-adding it helped as a workaround. I guess Evernote uses some sort of hash to identify identical files?!
