How do I get all my old Fonts back in EN 10.16.7 for Mac?

I am currently running EN 10.16.7 on Mac 10.14 Mojave.

All of my Old FONTS are missing.

I tried to add them back from the Font book.app and it did not work.

How do I get my fonts back?

This is what I am showing below from my font choice pull-down:

You can’t. The v10 clients only support the fonts preinstalled to the app, to make sure all notes look alike independently from the device and client.

If you need advanced formatting use a word processor like MS Word or Apple Pages, and attach the document to a note.

where are all the fonts?!?!?! i use new courier and american typewriter. for the life of me, i cannot figure out how to continue my notes in these fonts. what happened and where are the fonts?
