Feature request: prompt user before deleting a notebook

Janne J

Idea

So I managed to accidentally delete a notebook containing 100+ articles I have clipped and created over past 6 years. Looking through the Evernote support it seems the issue is acknowledged but the solution is not very user friendy:

Note: You cannot restore a notebook that has been deleted. When you delete a notebook, all of the notes in it are moved to the trash and the empty notebook is removed from your account. If you would like to restore the notebook, simply restore the individual notes that were in the notebook.

Could we have a prompt warning the user before deleting a notebook containing any notes? Alternatively a) make restoring a notebook possible b) make possible for to restore multiple notes from trash

Hi.  AFAIK it should be possible to restore multiple notes.  Since they are assigned to a Trash notebook on deletion it's unlikely to be possible to retain the previous parent notebook information.  If you make such a mistake again,  try using the 'undo' option in your OS (Ctrl+Z in windows forinstance) to fix the issue,  or maybe consider a regular backup of your account so that errors can be resolved by importing a backup copy.

Deleting a notebook in Evernote/Web generates this prompt
