Edits in a note not showing

This afternoon I worked on an existing note on my Macbook 2018 with Catalina. The system says that the note was edited at 15:11 even. However after I open the note, I only see the text I added yesterday.  Today's work is not updated/stored. Something goes wrong in the sync?

Same thing happened 2 days ago, on the same note. Then I thought I was dreaming after it did show up later.

I only worked on the note on the same machine....

Anyone else having this issue? I work with the latest version downloaded from the App store.

 

P.s. I miss the support function in the app where you could file a bug and send a log file!

The support function is there, just a bit hidden in the help menu.

I would contact support, sync issues are sometimes hard to crack.

Maybe you tell them you want the sync button back, to make sure changes have been processed.
