The search function for moving note doesn't work

I need to move my note, but the search function doesn't work. It shows "There is no matches found" while typing the key word.  

The problem has been lasting for long time.

Hi.  You searched WaterproFFing in this example.  Plus - when moving a note,  does click and drag (to the notebook required) not still work?

I have this problem too on my Mac. No matter what you enter in the search fields no folders are ever listed in the dialog box.  Drag and drop still works.  And the function works on the web version.

If you read the thread, the thread owner had the problem when he misspelled the notebook name. 

Are you having "the same problem" ? At least this is what you say ! Then the solution is simple: Check your spelling.

Tried the search for a notebook on my Mac, using the EN10.27 client. Works without any problem - you select move a note, then start typing, and the notebooks appear in the search list. Click one, and the note is moved.

Not a spelling issue. It’s empty when no search filter is entered. And empty no matter what is entered, including valid spelling folder names. So different than the original post. Thanks

OK, maybe your local database has taken a shot. You can try this:

1. Go to File > Sign Out [name] from the menu bar.
2. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option, then click Sign out.
3. Restart your computer.
4. Sign back in to Evernote

It will rebuild the local database from the server data.
