This is the one thing that would cause me to put all my chips into Evernote...

William Heine

Idea

The one thing that would cause me to upgrade my Evernote membership and eliminate my current task manager would be to  create Evernote tasks via Siri on my iPhone.
The ability to get a thought out of my head and into the place where I will make further process decisions is essential to me. The fact that Siri was removed from the new Evernote is keeping me from putting all my chips in. Whether I’m in the car, waiting for an appointment, or stuck at a traffic light. I want to quickly press a button and get the thought out of my head so that it can be added into my work routine without being forgotten.

This was requested by several beta users and is on our list of features to look into once we're done with the initial Tasks launch. Thanks for the +1 on this. 🙂

Thank you Scott for this info!

Just to maybe throw a little weight to this idea, as a person with ADHD, the lack of quick audio help from Siri has a big impact on my ability to function well. I very recently came back to EN after being away for years in an attempt to have a single organizational tool that can do everything now that EN has launched tasks. But I am still finding myself being split between EN and my iOS reminders because when inspiration strikes/I am reminded of that thing I need to do and I can't safely use the app (driving) or am in the middle of something else, my brain truly can't hold on to the thought long enough to get to the end of my drive/dog walk/dinner/etc etc.

Very, very much looking forward to this and knowing that y'all have this on your roadmap will keep me from ditching EN to try and find something that already has this functionality.
