Background: The current method of editing a personal template can charitably be called a "workaround"; create a new note, use the personal template you want to update, make your changes, save as template with the same name as the personal template. Or you can save as template to a different name, if you can't get the name correct, open a new document, pick a personal template to delete and rename your updated template as the correct name.
Feature request: Allow direct accessing of the template, either by a special folder named Personal Templates, or a Command Menu called Edit Personal Template, in the same area as Save As Template command.
Benefits: Promotes the use of personal templates, allows easy updating of the template to handle issues with the template. Brings a powerful easy to use tool to the end user.
