(Update - there was an issue with our initial release and the quick switcher shortcut was not working. We've pushed an update for this same release that should address the issue. If you have downloaded this update already and the shortcut is not working for you, please see this thread for a fix.)

Today we released Evernote for Windows 10.14 (v 10.14.6 build 2651).

This release brings an improvement to search with a new quick "switch to" option to Windows. Hit CTRL-Q to quickly pull up a search box to switch right to your preferred note or notebook. A top requested feature, it is now available on Evernote Windows for the first time. Past release notes are archived here.

It is available now via the Windows Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. New to Windows 10.14

• We added a new keyboard shortcut! Quickly search or switch to a note, notebook, or tag by pressing Ctrl-Q on Windows.
• Evernote for Windows will now open a little faster thanks to some performance improvements.

Fixed highlights:

• If you selected multiple notes but the first one was blank, the app would sometimes forget your selection.
• The app would sometimes have trouble importing a lot of .enex files at once.
• When the Evernote app is minimized, the keyboard shortcut for new note windows now only opens a note window instead of the whole app.

• Quickly search and move to different note using a keyboard shortcut (Mac - CMD+J, Windows - Ctrl+Q)
• Dragging and dropping note links and tags directly into your note
• Additional export options (in progress - HTML and export options released in 10.13)
• Import folder
• Duplicate more than one note at a time
• Filtered notes widget for Home
