Mobile edits dropped / lost

Very frustrated!  Have made edits to existing notes on mobile (while laptop app was not active).  When I visited the notes on laptop, the edits were missing.  Several instances now on several different days.  This is just terrible (dis)functionality.

Note: when I have mobile and laptop open together, I can see the changes occur.  That's nice.  But only occasionally or unreliably capturing / saving the mobile edits to notes is just not OK!

I've seen a lot of other posts on this topic and "solutions" that aren't acceptable.  I should be able to just use the app and have it synch properly... no extra steps or diligence required.  Does that make sense?

Hi.  What solutions have you tried,  and why aren't they acceptable?  In an ideal world it would be nice to have an app behave perfectly. This ain't that situation...
