A newly created template doesn't show up in the existing template list of the new note button

When I create a new template, I get a message that it has been created. However, it doesn't appear in the template list of the new note button. What else should I do to get it in the list?

Since the number of own templates is limited to 20, IMHO the number of clicks (be it 1 or 4) needed to create a new template is currently of limited relevance.

This would change if the limit on the number of own templates would be raised or eliminated. There is another voting thread with that issue.
