Previous search string not cleared when using "Search in Evernote" keyboard shortcut

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything. 

When I use the "Search in Evernote" (Shift+Win+F) shortcut, it takes me to the search input in Evernote, but leaves the previous search there, rather than clearing it out. I think you can make a pretty good case that this is usually an annoyance rather than being helpful. It seems to me that most often a user would want the box cleared so that they can start entering a new search staightaway.
