How do I disable the function for pasting everything into a new note

evernote isn't even open on my laptop, yet when i try the ctrl+alt+v to paste special in excel, it always just creates a new note. how do i turn this off???

Bring up the keyboards shortcuts toolbar (ctrl-/ or the keyboard icon at the bottom of the sidebar). All the global shortcuts are editable and can be disabled.
