tcwaters 0 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I've been using Evernote for a while and really love it, but as a blogger, there are some things I'd love from it that I don't see or know how to do it. I'm using Evernote on my iPhone, iPad and my Mac computers.1) Collecting ideas into a single note.I use my iPad a lot to follow RSS feeds, and find things I want to write about on my blog. Often, I'll find 3 or 4 posts by others, all relating to the same topic. Rather than have each of these as a separate note in Evernote, I'd like to be able to add them all to one note. Then to write my blog post, I could open that one note and find all of my source material. If I do this on my Mac, I can create a separate notebook, or select a specific tag, so that I can find all of the source material easily, but on my iPad, all I have is the email link or email article option. I'm currently using Feedler as my RSS reader.2) I'd like to be able to write my blog posts in Evernote too someones. So far, when I have tried that, and then later attempt to copy and paste into WordPress, it doesn't paste the entire note. What am I doing wrong? I have been able to email the note to myself, THEN cut and paste it, but that is too much work.3) How about developing a WordPress Plugin to allow for more easy integration with a wordpress.org blogsite.THX!
engberg 89 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 1) You could try the "Merge" function in the client to merge multiple notes into a single note if that's what you'd like to do.2) I'm not sure why it won't let you paste into WordPress. Perhaps their web-based editor has a limit on the number of characters it will accept. You could try a different web browser. I've also heard that people have been successful using our "email" feature to email posts into WordPress directly from Evernote. Thanks for the suggestions
