laptop recommendation for medical practice?

Hi there, I'm a medical student looking for a decent laptop for medical billing & coding. The problem is that I'm a beginner and didn't exactly know how to pick the best laptop for medical practice. So, if anyone has any info about then please guide me. Thanks in advance!

We had a comprehensive testing by a computer journal here in Germany. The conclusion was that due to the current chip shortage, solid middle class laptops start at appr. 700€ sales price.

Everything below (except of rare special offers) was compromising on one component or the other. This is often hard to tell for consumers, you just feel the pain later.

My hot contender currently would be an M1-MacBook Air, maybe not the base model. This is appr. double the price above, but it probably is today the best performance for such a price you can get.
