Evernote for Mac 10.12

Recommended Posts

Today we released Evernote for Mac 10.12 (v 10.12.4 build 2560).

This is a primarily bugfix release as we continue to make progress on “coming soon” priorities and other feature work. Past release notes are archived here.

It is available now via the Mac App Store and as a direct download version from our website. If you are already running one of these versions, we are progressively rolling out to compatible devices and the new version will be available on all supported operating systems within 7 days. To learn how Evernote delivers app updates, when you’re eligible for an update, and how to update your Evernote app, visit How Evernote delivers app updates to our customers.

New to Mac 10.12

  • Stability and performance improvements.

Fixed highlights:

  • Occasionally, the app would ask you to sign in again after a restart. This should be resolved.
  • Switching between notes and navigating the app should be faster.
  • "Select all" should now work with most text entry fields (like search, move, etc).
  • New customers going through the educational introductory experience could get stuck and not able to complete the flow.

Coming soon:

  • Quickly search and move to different note using a keyboard shortcut (Mac - CMD+J, Windows - Ctrl+Q)
  • Dragging and dropping note links and tags directly into your note
  • Additional export options
  • Import folder

Let us know what you think and we appreciate the continued feedback. We will keep hard at work! Thank you!
