PDF Support and Search are Broken in New Update

The main feature of evernote for myself that no other software replicates is it's PDF search support. I constantly look for content in a notebook of 300+ pdfs. Searching by specific terms. 

• The new evernote completely took away every PDF feature I use daily.
• Unable to search "only" a specific notebook. 
• Only notes with search term are shown in list of notes.
• Markers of where search terms are in a pdf no longer in scroll bar. Why?
• PDF view is no longer inline and scrollable. Drastically reducing time to find content. Why?
