Evernote will not launch at all since last update.

Shortly after the last update Evernote stopped launching. Whenever I try, I get the dialog box in the attached screen shot. Clicking Restart or Quit just bounces right back to the dialog box, and I have to force quit the app to stop it. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app twice, restarted my Mac, and logged in to the web version to sync my notes, and nothing works.

Yes. Same here. Same dialog. Same need to force quit. In fact, I've been seeing this with all the releases for a while now. Evernote has become an unusable app. I can only use the version in the browser. I am seeking alternatives before my next annual payment kicks in.

Evernote has removed all the content I added in the last few months, which adds up to a lot of work gone.  Is there a way to get my info back?  I've never heard of this happening before.  Is it punitive?  Did I say the wrong thing that Evernote didn't approve of?

That did the trick. I deleted with AppCleaner, reinstalled, and everything worked. Thanks very much!
