How to delete Tags?

How do you delete unwanted tags? For the life of me I cant figure this out. This simple task should not be that difficult.

Using the Tags Page (not the sidebar)
Right-Click the Tag and select Delete

To access the Tags Page, click on the Tag icon in the Sidebar
