Shared note with an 'unknown email'

Hi,

I recently checked the sharing status of a note that I shared last year with a client of mine and below his email address it says "Unknown email". I'm sure that he had an account back then, as he had access and read the note frequently. Does this mean that he now switched accounts or stopped using Evernote? If I stop sharing the note with him will he get an email notification about this?

Hi.  Don't know why you're getting that message,  but I'd suggest you stop the share. The sharee won't get any messages - other than the fact the note is not available when/ if they try to access it again;  you can deal with that situation if it arises by just re-sharing.
