(Archived) Ink responsiveness

I am having a real difficulty creating ink notes - the responsiveness to my writing is not good at all and thus very frustrating. I am running 2.2 alongside 3.0, and have switched back and forth to compare, and sure enough, every gesture I make in an ink note in 2.2 is as if I am writing on paper, but in 3.0 it is hit and miss, and often my writing results in nothing being displayed.

Any suggestions? I use Evernote primarily for handwritten ink notes, and I will not be able to use 3.0 if this issue can't be fixed somehow, which would be a shame since I am enjoying (with some exceptions, ie tags...) using 3.0 and love the syncronization.
