Evernote hijacked my keyboard's Ctrl+Alt+N - help!

Hello.

I have  my system keyboard set as US-International. Under that keyboard layout, Ctrl+Alt+N creates the character Ñ but since upgrading to the latest version of Evernote, when I try to type ñ or Ñ, it opens a new note window - whether I am in Evernote or any other application. So now I can't type in Spanish anymore? As a journalist in South America, this completely kills Evernote's functionality for me!

Please help!

Go to the help menu, option keyboard shortcuts, or click on the little keyboard symbol down at the side panel.

The shortcuts list will open. You can modify the first shortcuts in that list, the general ones.

Why I can't do this? There is no possipibity of changing this shortcut, I can edit only "global" shortcuts. It makes evernote completly uslless in my country. Any solution for this probem?

But alt-ctrl-N is a global shortcut.
