Selecting text in new editor not working properly(in Chrome)

Since the new editor, selecting text to copy to clipboard is not working properly. If I go over text from left to right, it does not select the tet, but from right to left it does sometimes. But most of the times i do not succeed in it at all. Then I click outside of the note, go back and then i can select it from right to left. Strange behaviour. Any one else got this?

Odd, it works fine for me in Chrome (v. 89 of ChromeOS). What version of Chrome are you on? Are any errors displayed in the console?
