When I attempt to open Evernote on my iPad, all I get are the four pages of the updated version. I am unable to go any further to use the app. Please help.

If it does not open properly, and the iPad is running on a current iOS version (14.4 at the moment), the install is probably damaged:

  • uninstall app, dump all data
  • switch the iPad completely off, wait a moment
  • switch on again (Apple logo must show)
  • install the app, log in, and now let the initial sync go through
  • use the app
