Evernote 10.8.5 dreadfully slow on Imac running big sur 11.3

My evernote is painfully slow on booting up and often times has to be restarted to get the synchronization working.  Anyone else experiencing this?

BigSur 11.3 is no official release, at least not yet. The actual version as of today is 11.2.1.

If you are on a beta, you may have a beta effect.

On my MBP 15“ with 11.2.1 the EN v10 client runs stable, with known issues regarding resources consumption. But it boots in an acceptable manner, and syncing works.
