Bug : When I quit Evernote with an open note, it crashes

Hi everybody,

 

I've got the last version from the App store (even tried to replace it with the version from Evernote.com.

When I open a note, then I want to quit Evernote  without closing the note first, I always have an Evernote crash.

If I close the note first, then I quit OK without issue. 

This is really a pain in the ass... if you need to close all open notes before quitting the app...

 

Any idea ?

What do you mean by "open a note - not closing it first" ?

EN will nearly always show a note in the right panel - the one which happens to be selected in the left panel.

Just tried it with a random note - even if I opened a note, made some changes and leave it like that, then hit cmd-Q, the EN app closes regularly. Changes were saved.

So +1 for not having an issue.

If you can't solve the problem by reinstalling (use the app AppCleaner to really get rid of all components when you uninstall), try a support ticket.

I mean open a note in a dedicated window by double clicking on it.

This allows me to split my screen with Teams on the 2/3 right side and EN on the 1/3 left side.

If I do it in the standard window with note list and preview on the right side, it's too small, so easier to have only one note opened
