Duplicating old note: the images are missing

Duplicated a note, but the images are missing in duplicated note. So quite the duplication feature is quite useless.

Duplicating that note may not have worked,  but duplicating notes is useful for templates,  sharing and a host of other things.

What version of the software are you running; their was a small bug in an earlier version which did not duplicate any attachment

This was resolved in 10.6.9 and remains OK in current release version

What was the origin of the duplicated note? For me doing almost anything with a note made using the webclipper screenshot function results in the image disappearing.

In legacy version that worked like that. Now duplicated note that was made using old version 9th of April 2020, but it didn't contain images.

Should be latest version, at least evernote updates itself .. 10.7.6 in windows 10.
