can not send notes to evernote via email

Hello. Up until today it was possible for me to send notes to evernote via email but since some time this feature doesn't work anymore. Is there a limit of using this function in the basic version? I tried to change the evernote email adress but it didn't sovle the problem. please help me with this issue.

Hi.  As far as I know it has never been possible for Basic users to create notes by email - other than an initial 5 emails purely for trial purposes.  If you have downgraded from a subscription or were using some other service it may be that you had another access,  but at this moment Evernote does not allow creation of notes by email for Basic users.

Hi.  Have you ever been able to forward emails to Evernote?  Can you try sending from a different email address?  Resetting your Evernote account email address?

I have the exact same problem. I have been forwarding emails to Evernote daily for over 6 years. As of today (3/15/21), they no longer show up as notes. Have searched all notebooks and they're not showing up in a random note elsewhere. I have opened a trouble ticket. Just hoping one of you have figured this out.

Ich habe auch seit einigen Tagen das Problem, aber nicht von allen Emailprovidern, ich bin Premium User, es laufen 6 Emailadressen automatisch auf mein Evernote ----Account  mein Exchange (1&1) kommt an, genauso wie Gmail, was nicht mehr ankommt sind meine zwei GMX Adressen und meine Strato Adresse ?

I also have since a few days the problem, but not from all email providers, I am premium user, it runs 6 email addresses automatically on my Evernote account my Exchange (1&1) arrives, as well as Gmail, what no longer arrives are my two GMX addresses and my Strato address ?

It was mentionend in the email thread that Basic Account User do not have the same email features or resticted access to that feature. 

Just right now, I did not opend a ticket. 

I do not like it, but I will try to reset my email address,  I have to change quite a lot of filter and automatic forwarding rules 😞

Also the reset of the evernote email address was not succesful, Straton is now working but my main mailboxes from  GMX are not working all other providers are working.  Any idea?

Basic users have no access to sending e-mail to their EN account, except 5 trials that will not renew.

Support is best here - maybe EN applies a sort of spam filtering in the background. I am not aware of this, but probably there is something in place. Another issue could be the daily cap of 200 mails. If you use automation to forward mails, you may pass it without even knowing.

On trying, mails from my strato -hosted accounts went through. GMX mails did not show, probably they get spam-filed. Will wait whether there is an error message returned.

Ich habe meine Emailadresse noch nicht zurück gesetzt. Da man hier auch in einigen Foren liest das es dann zum Super GAU kommen kann und alles durcheinander gerät. 

Von einer anderen Email kann ich ebenfalls keine Mails versenden. Also versenden geht schon. Die kommen aber in Evernote nicht an. Eine Rückmeldung, wie ich auch bei einigen gelesen habe, erhalte ich jedoch nicht.

Das Zurücksetzen hat nichts gebracht Straton funktioniert jetzt auch nicht mehr und GMX ist tot, ich habe meine Emails jetzt umgeleitet auf meine 1&1 Accounts und die werden dann von Evernotes eingelesen, es scheint etwas mit den Betreibern zu tun zu haben ggf. Spam, bin jedenfalls schwer genervt, EN testet meine Geduldsfaden in den letzten Wochen sehr stark ... ich mache jetzt noch ein Ticket auf, erwarte aber keine Lösung, der Support ist im Moment schwach.

Möchte mich anschließen. Auch ich habe seit Montag, 14.03. das Problem, dass meine Mail an Evernote (Premium) nicht ankommen. Letzte Woche ging es noch.

Zurück setzen der Mail in Evernote war leider ohne Erfolg.

Hallo, 

hat bereits einer eine Lösung? Der Versand, egal von welchem Email-Konto, an Evernote funktioniert nicht. Ich habe mittlerweile 2x die EvernoteEmail zurück gesetzt. Trotzdem kein Empfang von Emails in Evernote.

I have had the same problem with email uploads to the dedicated address.  I have reset it three times.  I am a Premium member and it has worked for years.  Not working for the last month or two.  I am submitting a support ticket.  Would love to hear a solution soon.

Schließe mich dem Ganzen an. Würde auch gerne ein Ticket dazu aufmachen, geht aber seit mehreren Jahren nicht. Rufe ich die Supportseite auf, werde ich abgemeldet. Erneutes Anmelden auf der Support Seite leitet mich auf den neuen Webclient weiter. Zurück zur Supportseite startet diese Schleife neu.

Ich muss sagen, EN hat sich deutlich in den letzten Jahren was Support und Benutzbarkeit angeht, für mich deutlich vom Kunden entfernt.

I have checked from all domains I send from email now and it seems to work again. Thank you to the EN support staff.  Anyone else having success again or am I an isolated success story?

Ist there any update on this issue?

Since probably 2 or 3 months e-mails sent to my Evernote mail address don't appear in my Evernote.

I am Premium/Personal user and it makes no difference if I use Evernote 6 on a device or Evernote 10.

Mail address have been resetted.

I sent emails from my own domain(s), not from freemailer. My hoster is a reliable, well-known hoster here in Germany (All-Inkl.com).

Do you get it to work?

There was a time a few months back when Evernote imposed some additional checking of incoming Email to the Evernote address.  Messages I was forwarding were not arriving. I opened a ticket and someone added my domain to some sort of permissions list or so forth and mail started flowing again.  Perhaps, as @PinkElephant suggests, a support ticket is the way forward.

Does anyone have a feel for  how long it takes emails sent to show up in the default notebook. I was waiting on one to add something to it and it took almost an hour. I thought it was a sync issue, but it wasn't in the web client either. Not sure if this is normal or not

When I do - which is not very often - it usually shows up fast.

A delay can be caused by the sending mail server, the relays and by the receiving side. Some mail clients allow a setting that produces a feedback by every server the mail touches on its path from the sending to the receiving server.
