JohnWRS 4
Title says it all. "Check for updates" is not available in the Help menu. I uninstalled Evernote from phone (Samsung Note 9) and reinstalled. Evernote 8.13.3 reinstalled. I'm trying to get the Dark Mode functionality of version 10. Version 8.13.3 has "Dark Theme" which seems to have less consistent 'dark' settings. I have an Evernote Premium account. Thanks for any ideas. Link to post
Level 5* gazumped 8,024 Posted February 2 Level 5* Share Posted February 2 Hi. Evernote's announcement: https://evernote.com/blog/new-evernote-android/ The important bit: "if your device is running Android 9 or older, or is not yet in the update queue, you won’t see the new app in the store." 1 Link to post
JohnWRS 4
Thanks for the very prompt reply. I'm currently on Android 10, but I'm not sure when it updated from 9. I should give it some time to see if the update cycle for Evernote will catch up to my phone. 1 Link to post

Rajesh Gaire 20
You will need tp download their installer because they use their own file format, but it works great. Link to post
JohnWRS 4
Hmmm... Maybe I'll wait for Evernote to work through the PlayStore.... Feels safer. 3 Link to post

Thank you @gazumped! I've been frustrated for a few months with all the bugs in my Android EN but I wasn't aware that there was a newer version that I couldn't download because my phone has Android 9 (it's "old", only 3 years old!)... Anyway, this explains why the bugs. Thanks! 1 Link to post

Consider yourself lucky. v10 for Android is a very mixed bag, with numerous severe bugs that have yet to be fixed since they were reported in an invite-only beta last year. Link to post

Ah interesting! I participated in the beta testing last year and I was wondering why I haven't seen any updates on my phone. Now I know and I guess, yes, I'm lucky... 1 Link to post
