Frustrated: update probs, payment issues, AND latest update won't open

Hi - I have three problems:

1. (Ongoing) - sorry, but the recent major updates has made the whole experience very clunky!
2. I had an oversight re monthly payment, but updated payment card on the system (which is updated ok), yet I keep getting a banner popping up to remind me to update payment etc
3. The last update to the latest version doesnt work at all (see attached log files and screenshot) - I even tried to revert back to Evernote Legacy (that worked!) but as soon as I updated from that version, same thing happened and I cannot open. Im now having to go back to Legacy version and probably stay there until things get a *lot* better ;-(

Hi.  If you keep on getting reminders for payment I suggest you contact Support - something similar happened to me and they had to reset the payment system on my account because it got overly nervous after my card expired.  I'm still working off the last public Evernote for Windows - 6.25.1 - and have disabled updates via Tools > Options > General.  It may be worth uninstalling your current setup (keep your database!) and starting again for a -temporarily- quiet life...

Hi - thanks; I have recently used the 'Submit a Request' but heard little back.
The Legacy version I am having to now use is 6.25.2.9198 (309198) Public (CE Build ce-62.6.10954) - so good enough to get me by, for now.

Im so surprised how clunky the new major upgrade is. It seems to really slow my laptop down too.

That is what you get as the official "Legacy" version - engineered (I assume) to co-exist with version 10 so you can use it for everyday,  while also keeping an eye on how the upgrades to 10.x are going.  AFAIK it shouldn't offer to 'update'.  The 6.25.1 link I posted was the last public release before the new version rolled out.  It's where I'm staying for the moment. 

I need Import Folders - which aren't back yet,  and Local (unsynced) Notebooks - which Evernote is so far saying won't be back - before I can update further.  (I do have a prospect for local notebooks - just a flat file database that I can link to from Evernote!)

When things have settled down a bit I'll update to EN10,  but from experience I know I find it hard dealing with two different menu layouts;  muscle memory says do this and then my brain kicks in a second later and thinks "Err...maybe not".  If what you're trying to do is cut and paste,  or edit and tag... the repeated extra mistakes add time and frustration.  I only want to change between menu systems once.  😒
