note "Internal links" pasted into Excell spreadsheets yield "Evernote is temporarily unavailable" when accessing the webversion

Recommended Posts

Hi,

  • I use Evernote desktop. I right click on a note and select "copy internal link".
  • Then I paste the link into an Excell spreadsheet ( tax return reference for receipts ).
  • When I click the link it opens evernote in my chrome browser and I get the attached screenshot

If I browse normally in the Evernote web version I can see the notes that I am referencing so the site is up and running.

what is going on here?

thanks

Alan

Absolutely no clue. Could be something to do with Windows messing up the link contents - as you can open the page if you access direct,  have you tried copying the note URL into the spreadsheet and checking that it still works from there?  If this is an important part of your tax preparation I'd suggest opening a support ticket so Evernote can help...
