Evernote 10.6.9 for Mac - Add to dictionary missing

It seems that 'Learn Spelling' is only an option if the word closely resembles a real word.  Working in technology, we use a lot of terms/commands which are nowhere near real words.

I'd like to be able to add these to the dictionary.

Why is this not possible?

I agree with the first post on this thread. I'm trying to use evernote as way to track my medical journey as I like that I am able to cross platform my notes for whenever I need it. However, it's frustrating not being able to add legit medical jargon such as medication to my dictionary.  I feel like this should be a basic option available but its not despite being told it is. Its the reason I have made a forum account as I'd like for it to be an option so I don't have to see a sea of red lines.
