PDF Annotations GONE!!!!

Hi 

I was writing my notes for my lecture on a PDF file. I have a HP laptop with a stylus pen function. Once I tried writing with it, the PDF annotation froze and was not working. I ended up exiting and saving the notes I had. But when I reopened the PDF file ALL MY NOTES WERE GONE!!!! I AM FURIOUS!!!! IF THIS PROBLEM CANNOT BE FIXED THEN I WILL CANCEL MY EVERNOTE SUBSCRIPTION WHICH I JUST GOT TODAY!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS, IF YOU CANNOT EVEN FIX A MINOR PROBLEM LIKE SAVING THEN YOU SHOULD NOTE EVEN BE CONSIDERED A NOTE TAKING SERVICE.
