Alexandre G 0 Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Hi guys, I am new to Mac but used Evernote on Windows for a few years already. There are talks that the Touchbar was integrated with Evernote but I do not see it on mine Any idea how to activate the touchbar for Evernote on my Mac ? Cheers, Alex Evernote 10.5.7 MacOS Big Sur 11.1
Level 5* gazumped 12,215 Posted January 13, 2021 Level 5* Posted January 13, 2021 Hi. That would have been before they rewrote the base code and launched a cut-down version to ease into the new system. More is coming, but if you need to use the old system, try this - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052560314-Install-an-older-version-of-Evernote
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,003 Posted January 13, 2021 Level 5 Posted January 13, 2021 The Touch Bar reacts automatically to an app - depending on how the app does address the function. With legacy, there are a few EN specific options available, like tagging, search, view and new note. With v10, there are no EN specific options, but some standard stuff, like a word picker when editing. IMHO what shows with legacy in the Touch Bar is no reason to switch from v10 (leaving other reasons aside). There is no real implementation that makes full use of the touch bar, like a note scroller would be.
