Hi, I've recently upgraded my Evernote desktop-app to the version 10.5.7 and have had several issues since then.
I reinstalled the version hoping to fix the issues, but now I can't even open the app anymore. This is the error i get: "Configuration file Error: syntaxerror: unexpected token o in JSON at position 1324".
The operating system I'm using on my mac is macOS Catalina version 10.15.7
Hi there,
We are working to address this issue.
In the meantime, you can do the following as a workaround solution that should resolve the issue until we can fix it permanently: Reinstall using AppCleaner:
1. If Evernote is running, press **Command + Q** to quit the Evernote application
2. Download App Cleaner
3. When the download is complete: open the zip file, then open the App Cleaner app
4. Open the ‘Applications’ folder in your Finder and drag Evernote to the App Clean
This solution proposed in another topic, by a member of the evernote staff, worked with me
Thank you
Antonio
"Hi
the issue was solved with these steps:
In the new Evernote for Windows, select File > Sign Out
Select File > Quit Evernote
Open File Explorer (aka Windows Explorer)
Paste %appdata% into the address bar and press Enter
Delete the folder "Evernote"
Launch Evernote again and sign in."
