Can't drag and drop Windows documents to Evernote

I have heard no feedback in fixing the inability to drag and drop documents from Windows 10 File explorer to Evernote. This is basic stuff. Can someone help me on this. Otherwise, I just waisted my money renewing Evernote if this basic function isn't fixed.

I can't reproduce this problem. If I drag and drop a file from windows file explorer onto the note list EN creates a new note with the file attached. If I drag the file into an existing note it attaches it to the note. How are you trying to do it?

I regularly drag items from File Explorer and the Desktop (just a special File Explorer folder) and it works just fine. I can drag into an existing note or onto the note list and create a new note containing the document.
