ankush Goyal 0 Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 evernote has stopped auto correcting ever since I have updated it! has it turned to default off mode ? how to switch it on?
JP-Playa 0 Posted January 5, 2021 Posted January 5, 2021 Same question. How do I turn the autocorrect feature back on?
curry.jm 0 Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Same question. I'm using Legacy in the meantime. I very much depend on the autocorrect when I use Evernote and it's close to useless to me without it. I know that some people find it annoying, but it must be an option for those of us who depend on it (and who pay for the program). Please respond!
KenTheriot 10 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 I know this is a year later, but I have the same question and need. I rely on autocorrect. Did they do away with it entirely?
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,020 Posted February 3, 2022 Level 5 Posted February 3, 2022 It probably was not coded. There is spell checking, with a red underline .
KenTheriot 10 Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 That is not the same thing. I got used to relying on the auto-correct as I'm typing. And now I have to stop, right click, and choose from a list of "suggested" words. 1 1
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,020 Posted February 3, 2022 Level 5 Posted February 3, 2022 I did not say it is the same thing. I just told what is available, and what is not. So better start working on your orthography… 1
KenTheriot 10 Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 I'm not a fan of this whole "we got rid of that feature you liked. Deal with it" thing. 2
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,020 Posted February 4, 2022 Level 5 Posted February 4, 2022 Features are added, step by step. The forum is user2user. We can discuss things, sometimes offer a workaround, but not initiate changes. If you want to put an emphasis on any you are missing, use the feedback function or issue a support ticket.
