My computer crashed while printing a .pdf file to Evernote. I am on a MacBook Pro running 10.6.4. When I restarted and launched Evernote my notes were no longer viewable. The titles were there in each notebook, but when I clicked on various notes the text in the notes was missing. When I logged into the Evernote Web site the notes were all there.
I quit Evernote, relaunched it and received the following error message: "The file "Evernote.sql" could not be opened because it isn't in the correct format. The file may be corrupted, truncated or in a different format".
I read a few posts in this forum and followed instructions that advised me to move the "Data" folder out of the library and to the desktop. I then quit and relaunched Evernote and received a new error message: "Sync Failure: Unexpected transfer error...". Also a red circle is repeatedly drawn around the New Note icon in Evernote. There is also a red exclamation point on the Sync icon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
