Lawrence Glasner 0
Hitting CNTL + CMD + N brings up a fresh quick note. But the bottom of the note is truncated, so there are no options to save or capture a screenshot! It is impossible to reach technical support for a solution to this issue. This is disappointing service for an expensive application. Appreciate guidance here, and Happy New Year! L Link to comment
nizzle 0
Same. Without an option to save quicknote to an evernote, it's basically just like sticky notes on mac. Did evernote decide to disable this functionality or is this just a bug? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,105 Posted January 25, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted January 25, 2021 Works on my Mac, but a little different from the former menu bar helper. You can type text into the window, and on hitting „convert into a note“ it does that, and saves the note into EN. When using the screen grabbing options, it creates a new note right away. The old helper did collect content in the helper window, and let you add text and clips and more text and clips before deciding to save it into a single note. With the new helper you get several notes. Plus EN need to run for it to be active and be called by the shortcut, whereas the old helper was always available. So I would give it a 3-4 out of 10 compared to the helper in legacy. Link to comment
