Copy Apple Contacts to Evernote

Hi.  Older user here.  Using fewer apps makes life simpler, so when one app will do the job of another, it is a good bet for us oldies....

Can anyone tell me how to move Contacts (from iPhone & Mac) to Evernote?

Hello! My first idea would be to see if you can export all the contacts in a plain text file, for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard. It's not particularly nice to read, but it's searchable.

Then you can open the file in a text editor and cut and paste into Evernote. 

But i think it's also worth wondering if this is really a good idea. Evernote doesn't have any special capabilities for managing contacts. The web version allows you to click on an email address and it will open the default email client, but it doesn't do much else. If you're happy with what Evernote offers in this regard, then things will be fine. Personally i'd miss some of the capabilities of the contact app i use (google contacts).
