(Archived) Tagging: don't open parent on drag & drop

I have several collection points for tags to prevent ending up with a huge list of tags in view. Whenever I drag a tag to one of those this parent tag opens up.

It would be nice if this would show the behavior like in Explorer: drag & drop ... or, drag... wait a bit.... folder/tag opens... drop/move
