Can't copy/paste phrases/words from encrypted fields

I encrypt user/password information in Evernote notes. Recently, if I reveal the encrypted contents and try to select a word from the revealed contents, what usually happens is that the entire revealed text is selected. 

Example 

User mysecret user name
password mypersonalpassword

The 2 lines above are encrypted.
Encrypted area is revealed.
I attempt to select just a word "mypersonalpassword" from the area.
All the text from both lines is selected/copied.

You may find it more secure and useful to do the encryption outside Evernote...

Hey, did you end up finding a solution? I have been trying to encrypt a text in evernote but can't see the option...both, in desktop and in mobile
