Since last update, can't edit or search encrypted content anymore

I have a few notes that I have encrypted with a password. Before the recent update, after I typed in the password, I was able to then:

• search the content
• add new content

Since the update, I can't do either. 

Can you please fix this bug asap? This is causing a big problem for me. Thx!

I am having the same difficulty. Mac OS Big Sur. Last major update lost the ability to search in encrypted text.  Both on Mac and iPhone....really sucks to not be able to search in the note.
