Disabled Snap buttons

Within the last couple weeks, the dropdown that allows me to take snapshots has a disabled look and won't work. I have been an user of Skitch for years and this is the first time I've seen it. I made sure I have the appropriate permissions enabled in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording. What should I do?

Have you enabled the Skitch Helper in the Skitch settings, tab "General" ? There are 2 options to check, run Skitch Helper in the background and start Skitch Helper on booting the computer. Further the Mac settings must allow it to work, but I think you have it covered.
